Service Support Worker - Regulated Service
Location: Dundee, with travel around the area
Salary: £22,932 per annum - pro rata for roles under 35 hours
Hours: 16, 24 and 35 hours available
Contract: Permanent
Regulated Service — You will be required to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of starting the role.

Role — Casual Service Support Worker - Support at Home in Dundee. Join our team to contribute to the well-being and independence of people within your community.
By providing support and resources, you will empower people to regain their independence and confidence, while maintaining their dignity.
Responsibilities
* Providing practical and emotional assistance to people in their own homes.
* Assisting with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing and medication support.
* Supporting service users with household tasks, meal preparation and shopping.
* Encouraging and promoting independence, enabling individuals to maintain their hobbies and interests.
* Building positive relationships with service users, their families and other healthcare professionals.
* Ensuring all care documentation is accurate and up to date.
Qualifications and Skills
* Right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available for this role.
* Previous experience in a similar care role, preferably within a healthcare or social care setting.
* Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a strong desire to make a positive impact on individuals’ lives.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Knowledge of person-centred care principles and a commitment to upholding dignity and autonomy.
* Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and reliability.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
* A full driving license and access to a vehicle is preferred but not mandatory.
