Job Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to head up our Estate Agency division, continuing to grow our expanding lettings portfolio, whilst working with our architectural and surveying directors to develop residential and commercial business.
As an experienced Lettings Agent, the successful candidate would be working with an established residential and commercial Lettings Agency team looking to build on a healthy market share.
Responsibilities:
Client Interaction: Act as the first point of contact for prospective tenants and landlords, providing professional guidance on the rental market, available properties, and the letting process.
Property Viewings: Conduct property viewings, showcasing homes and apartments to potential tenants, and offering insight into the features of each property.
Negotiation: Negotiate offers between landlords and tenants to secure the best possible outcome for both parties.
Tenant & Landlord Liaison: Handle day-to-day communication with tenants and landlords, ensuring all issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.
Paperwork: Assist with the preparation of tenancy agreements, inventories, and other documentation required throughout the lettings process.
Market Knowledge: Stay up to date with the latest trends in the local rental market and provide advice to clients based on market conditions.
Business Development: Build and maintain relationships with landlords, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
Requirements:
Experience: Previous experience in a lettings or property management role is essential.
Professional Body: ARLA accreditation preferred.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Sales-driven: A proactive, results-oriented approach with the ability to meet targets and work under pressure.
Organised: Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Knowledge of the Local Area: Familiarity with the local property market is an advantage.
Driver's License: A full UK driver's license is essential as you will need to travel to various properties.
