Join us at Hitachi Energy as a Control & Protection Software Design Engineer (with 1-4 years experience) and be part of a team dedicated to revolutionizing energy transmission with HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) technology.
Please note this position if of a hybrid nature (2/3 days working out of our central Glasgow office). Please also note we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.

How you’ll make an impact
* Design, maintain, test, integrate, verify, and deploy HVDC control & protection application functions.
* Document processes and conduct customer training.
* Travel internationally for assignments.
Your background
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical area.
* Experience with HVDC projects and control system design/testing.
* Strong interest in industrial application development and programming.
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
* Experience in digital technology, signal processing, control system design, and power system industry.
