Location: Remote with quarterly travel to team events

Roles: Data Scientist (open to Data Scientists, Senior Data Scientists, and Lead/Principal Data Scientists)

Our Data Science team supports various business units to answer questions such as:
1. How can we identify fraudulent claims and disrupt organized crime?
2. What is the cost to repair a car after an accident or fix a home after weather events?
3. How can we leverage Deep Learning and Generative AI to maximize unstructured data potential?
4. How do external events and long-term trends impact our business and customers?
5. How can we better understand our customers to deliver tailored services?

Leadership and Innovation

* Explain analytics and model predictions to build confidence

Who Are We Looking For?
We seek self-motivated individuals, whether recent graduates or experienced professionals, eager to learn and develop across multiple data science areas, including Generative AI. You will help drive innovation and interpret new techniques for the business.
Specifically, we are looking for:
* Creative thinkers with knowledge of core data science techniques (clustering, classification, regression) and initiative in solving complex problems
* Proficient coders with experience in Python and libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-Learn; experience with Deep Learning (PyTorch, Transformers) and GenAI is a plus
* Highly numerate problem-solvers with a Degree, Masters, or PhD in a relevant scientific or computational field
* Strong communicators capable of simplifying technical ideas for broader audiences
* Curious individuals willing to learn, revisit old problems, and tackle new challenges
