Our Building Services division provides complete Facilities Management of properties throughout the UK, providing mechanical and electrical engineering support, cleaning, catering and grounds maintenance on a planned and reactive basis, using technological solutions to manage our teams in the most efficient ways.
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join the Commercial Property team based out of our office in Moorgate, delivering projects across our Central London portfolio.
The role will be responsible and accountable for the timely delivery of multiple lifecycle and capital works projects. The Senior Project Manager will proactively manage the clients expectations seeking growth of CPM project pipeline.
You’ll:
1. Experience in managing the delivery of multiple projects in a FM environment.
2. Demonstrable experience in delivering programs of work in line with the requirements of CDM 2015 and experience in fulfilling the duties of Principal Designer and Principal Contractor on single and multi-discipline projects
3. Experienced in management and development of teams of PM’s and support functions.
4. Commercially astute and experienced in the execution of JCT and NEC forms of contract
5. Management of lifecycle programs of work.
6. Complex project management experience of individual projects valued in excess of £2m
7. Ability to identify risk areas and additionally potential growth opportunities and manage successfully.
8. Value Engineering experience
9. Tangible client relationship management and ability to communicate at Senior level
10. Budget and revenue analytical
11. Confident to implement new strategies and business improvement policies.
12. Experience in developing forward maintenance programs in conjunction with clients and provide recommendation on best use of funds on aging estates.
13. Ability to trouble shoot projects and provide refocussing to bring programs back to target delivery requirements
14. Understand principles of cost to complete in year programs of work, price to price works and risk mitigation.
We’re looking for:
15. Professionally Qualified to Chartered or Incorporated status with a Building Services or Construction related body or working towards and achieving within 2 years.
16. Qualified to HNC level as a minimum in an appropriate disciple.
17. Member of Association of Project Management or equivalent recognised body.
18. H&S qualification e.g. minimum 4 day IOSH or Construction Certificate
19. Ideally be able to obtain MOD Security Clearance
