3. Develop and oversee financial planning processes to support organisational goals.
4. Analyse financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
5. Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior stakeholders.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting.
7. Monitor key financial metrics and advise on cost-saving initiatives.
8. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
9. Support the implementation of financial systems and process improvements.
10. Provide interim leadership within the accounting and finance department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Financial Planning and Analysis Manager should have:
11. A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
12. Experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting within the public sector.
13. Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulations.
14. Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools.
15. Excellent communication skills to engage with senior stakeholders effectively.
16. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
