Job Title: Payroll Project Manager

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage projects impacting payroll systems and processes, primarily for UK & Ireland, with a focus on the Workday implementation and company separation.
* Provide operational leadership to stakeholders, ensuring timelines, processes, and budgets are met.
* Analyse project-related information and make informed recommendations to drive effective decision-making.
* Serve as a payroll subject matter expert (SME), working closely with the payroll leadership team and wider project teams.
* Identify and deliver process improvements, focusing on automation and optimisation of end-to-end payroll workflows.
* Oversee delivery of business implementation activities, including process changes within payroll teams and their integration into overall operations.
* Act as the main liaison for payroll projects across departments and business units.
* Provide hands-on support for payroll checking, reconciliation, and reviews (including UK and CNN EMEA payrolls) when required.
Your Role Accountabilities
* Drive successful delivery of payroll projects across the UK & Ireland.
* Contribute as part of the international payroll leadership team to adapt and improve existing payroll processes and systems.
* Ensure all process changes are well-documented, communicated, and embedded into operational practice.
* Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
* Minimum 5 years’ experience managing projects within a payroll environment.
* Experience managing a payroll implementation in Workday (or other payroll system implementations)
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while delivering individual responsibilities.
* Expertise in project planning, risk management, and execution.
Desirable
* Advanced Excel skills.
* In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations and statutory requirements for salaries, taxes, benefits, and related compliance matters.
