Supervisor Role at The Artisan Baker
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Supervisor to oversee daily operations at The Artisan Baker. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, and maintaining the smooth running of our coffee shop.
Key Responsibilities:
* lead and support the customer service team to deliver a warm, friendly, and professional experience to all customers,
* oversee the process of preparing drinks and food items,
* maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across all customer and staff areas,
* support and supervise the kitchen team, including assisting chefs when required,
* manage stock levels and assist with inventory checks,
* ensure health and safety compliance within the store,
* handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
Experience & Skills:
* previous supervisory or team leadership experience,
* excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
* ability to work under pressure and motivate a team,
* flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving.
Working Hours:
The Artisan Baker is open 8am-5pm Monday to Saturday and 9am-5pm on Sundays
The role involves 30–40 hours across 3–4 working days per week, with optional overtime during busy periods.
