At our ARU Writtle campus, we specialise in animal, environmental, agricultural and horticultural courses, for learners aged 16 to 18, adult learners, undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
About the Role:
The Department of Animal Science is seeking to appoint a Demonstrator skilled within the field of Animal Science/Management. The successful candidate will be working with a group of specialist lecturers to support high-quality teaching of our undergraduate programs.
This is an exciting opportunity which might suit to a recent graduate of someone who is looking to gain valuable experience withing the Higher Education academic sector.
In this role, you will be required to support teaching and learning activities within our undergraduate Animal Science and Animal Management courses, contributing to the skills development, guidance and assessment of student work. You will provide skilled assistance to our lecturers and students, along with preparing resources for practical classes. Furthermore, you will be required to demonstrate skills and techniques as an integral part of teaching programmes.
The successful candidate will ideally hold a first degree or above in Animal Science or related field and have relevant up to date technical knowledge. It would also be advantageous to have previous industrial experience.
