We are currently recruiting a Payroll Supervisor for our Didcot office location. The successful candidate will demonstrate an eagerness to learn and have a flexible approach to their work. Managing a team, you will have the following responsibilities: Manage and review a portfolio of approximately 40 monthly payroll clients, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Run the full end-to-end payroll cycle, including data input, RTI submissions, and issuing statutory documents (e.g., payslips, P45s, P60s). Set up and process payments for net salaries, HMRC liabilities, and other third-party obligations. Complete auto enrolment duties and upload pension contributions to relevant providers. Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, serving as a key point of contact for payroll matters. Support and supervise payroll team members, including conducting internal payroll reviews to ensure quality and compliance. Providing technical advice & responding to ad hoc queries. Your skills: Minimum of 4 years' experience in payroll, with strong technical knowledge of payroll processes and regulations. Experience in an outsourced or bureau payroll environment is preferred. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, stay organised, and meet strict deadlines. Committed to delivering a high standard of service with strong attention to detail. Effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with clients. Familiarity with BrightPay or similar payroll systems is advantageous but not essential. Valid work permit for the UK.
