Procurement Manager
Our client, a growing and forward-thinking organisation, is seeking an experienced
Procurement Manager
to lead their procurement function for their Oil&Gas and Mining sectors. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a high-performing team, shape procurement strategy, and play a key role in driving commercial performance.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Director, the Procurement Manager will be responsible for:
* Leading, motivating and developing a team of Procurement Specialists.
* Managing supplier and third-party relationships, ensuring competitive pricing and quality.
* Overseeing the end-to-end procurement process, from sourcing and negotiation through to order fulfilment.
* Reviewing and authorising quotations, scopes of work and client bid requirements.
* Using data to set, monitor and report on performance metrics and KPIs.
* Supporting the implementation of improved systems, processes and tools.
* Monitoring industry trends and making recommendations for continuous improvement.
* Ensuring compliance, due diligence and risk management in all procurement activity.
* Championing company values and embedding professional standards across the team.
The Person

* Proven experience in procurement management with team leadership responsibility.
* Strong supplier management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Commercial acumen with the ability to balance profitability, compliance and sustainability.
* A data-driven approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
* Confident communication and influencing ability at all levels.
* Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally as required.
