We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy distribution operation based in Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for consistent, ongoing work with a structured rota and competitive pay rates.
About the HGV Class 2 Driver:
As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be delivering chilled and fresh goods to retail locations across Central England. This is a multi-drop role with a focus on timely and safe deliveries within set schedules.
What You’ll Be Doing As The HGV Class 2 Driver:
* Completing store deliveries across a designated route
* Handling chilled and perishable goods with care
* Carrying out approximately 6 drops per shift
* Using roll cages to unload deliveries into store areas
* Ensuring all deliveries meet scheduled time windows
Shift Details For The HGV Class 2 Driver:
* Start times vary between AM (0100-0500) and PM (1400-2100)
* 4 shifts per week on a rotating 3-week rota
* Weekend working required
* Average shift length of around 12 hours
What We’re Looking For:
* Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
* At least 6 months’ Class 2 driving experience
* Up-to-date Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card
* Clean and safe driving record (no major endorsements)
* Professional, punctual, and dependable approach
Pay & Benefits:
* ÂŁ16.22 per hour (PAYE)
* Overtime paid at ÂŁ24.33 per hour after 48 hours
