Overview
Provide strategic financial guidance to the General Manager & hotel team. Manage month-end & year-end processes, producing accurate, timely financial reporting. Assisting in the development of annual budgets in collaboration with other departments. Drive cost-efficiency and profitability while supporting long-term growth plans.
Responsibilities
* Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and other key financial partners.
* Coordinating internal & external audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
* Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, tax laws, including the preparation and filing of tax returns.
* Overseeing the accounts payable function and managing accounts receivable.
* Supervising payroll processing and ensuring accuracy and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
* Be present and proactive - this is a highly visible role requiring engagement with the wider operations team.
* Extremely commercial with a strong understanding of F&B and operational performance metrics.
* Confident, collaborative and solutions-focused, with the ability to work closely with non-finance teams.
* Minimum 5 years experience in hospitality finance - ideally within premium or midscale hotels.
