Deliver life-changing care as a Consultant Psychiatrist within a specialist Tier 4 Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service supporting young people aged 12 to 18 with eating disorders. This Consultant Psychiatrist opportunity offers the chance to work closely with an experienced multidisciplinary team providing highly specialised inpatient treatment in a supportive clinical environment.
In this Consultant Psychiatrist role, you will lead clinical decision‑making across assessments, admissions, and treatment planning while contributing to service development and training. This position may also appeal to a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist or CAMHS Consultant seeking a part‑time leadership role focused on evidence‑based care and strong collaborative practice.

About the Company

Key Responsibilities
* Assess referrals, conduct admission assessments, and lead management plans for young people within the inpatient eating disorder service.
* Act as clinical lead for risk assessment, physical health evaluation, and treatment planning.
* Provide supervision, leadership and reflective practice support to key workers and junior doctors.
* Contribute to clinical governance, service development, and collaborative working with community teams and stakeholders.
About You
* GMC registered with licence to practise and listed on the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
* Experience working within CYPMHS or CAMHS eating disorder services.
* Previous experience working as a Consultant Psychiatrist or senior psychiatrist within child and adolescent mental health services.
