NHS 111 Health Advisor | Located on site - Dorking, Surrey

In this role, you will be at the forefront of helping people in need, guiding them through critical decisions with care and professionalism. You will triage a variety of calls, provide accurate assessments, and offer non-clinical advice using the NHS Pathways System.

Pay Rates
8. £12.21 per hour (7am-11pm)
9. £15.18 per hour (11pm-7am)
10. Enhanced rate of £15.71 per hour when working between Friday 18:00 to Monday 7:00am.
Please note that the weekend rate is a none contractual incentive for working unsociable hours and you will be paid £12.21 during your training.
Working Hours
We understand the importance of flexibility – we are currently offering part-time shifts of 24 or 30 hours per week which are mainly in the afternoons/evenings (24 hour shifts starting at either 15:30 or 17:30 until midnight) and includes some weekend hours. The 30 hour shifts are from either 16:00 - midnight, or 14:00 to 22:00, including some weekend hours).
Please note that this role cannot be worked remotely, and you must be able to attend shifts in our 111- contact centre:

Training and Development
We offer extensive, fully paid training to equip you with the skills to become a qualified Health Advisor and learn the advanced NHS 111 triage tool.
11. Full-Time: Monday-Friday (9am-5pm) for 4 weeks
12. Part-Time: Tues, Weds, Thurs (6pm-9:30pm) and Sat-Sun (9am-5pm) for 6 weeks
Our current training date availability is:
13. Part-Time Training starting 11th October
14. Full-Time Training starting 20th October
15. Part-Time Training starting 22nd November
16. Full-Time Training starting 17th November
It is essential that you attend training every day.
17. You will undergo assessments and call audits throughout training. Passing these is essential to continue with the role. Failure to pass on your second attempt will result in no longer being able to continue with the role.
18. After training, you will receive an additional 8 weeks of support to ensure you’re ready to be signed off as a fully accredited Pathways Health Advisor.
