Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Service Technician. The Service Technician will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting issues, providing field service, and ensuring high-quality customer service. The role involves regular customer interaction to diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently.
Qualifications
* Skills in Maintenance & Repair, and Field Service
* Competence in Troubleshooting and Customer Service
* Ability to perform tasks independently and remotely
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
* Previous experience in a technical service role is a plus
* Relevant technical or vocational training is preferred
* Work experience on packaging machinery would be desirable
* Willingness to travel in the UK & Ireland (Min 60%)
* Completed an apprenticeship in electronics/mechatronics at least three years long; an apprenticeship as a technician is desired
Educational Requirements
* Ideally, completed an Electrical/Mechanical Engineer Apprenticeship
* Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Engineering
* Strong electrical and mechanical skills
* City and Guilds 17th Edition Electrical Installations BS7671 or higher
* Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
