We are working with our nationwide charitable organisation, which is currently undergoing a period of change, and they seek an experienced Senior HR Business Partner to join their team.
The BP team takes a strategic lead on people management and organisational development to enable the organisation to have the right Culture, Capacity, and Capability to achieve its purpose.
The Senior HR Business Partner will manage a team of 2 HR BPs and will ensure the development and delivery of the HR strategy to foster relationships and people management solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a background within a regulated/unionised environment and be a proven strategic HR BP. This role is home-based (with very occasional travel nationwide), so we seek a candidate based in the East or West Midlands region.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the development and implementation of the People strategy
* Holding line management responsibility for up to two HR Business Partners, including performance management, absence management, staff wellbeing, and learning and development needs
* Driving collaboration across wider teams and departments
* Supporting the Head of HR Business Partnering and leading on specific HR projects to deliver the People strategy
* Leading in organisational change projects
* Managing union negotiations and relationships
The successful candidate will have extensive experience as an HR Business Partner, particularly in organisational change within a charitable or care environment. You will have managed complex employee relations matters, including organisational restructures, TUPE transfers (in and out), and leading change management programmes. Experience in managing a team is also required.
You will be a strong team player with an approachable and influential style, capable of driving success within this ambitious HR function that operates to high standards. The candidate must be CIPD qualified and available immediately or on short notice.
