Bradford Council Planning service would like to recruit a Scanning Assistant who is enthusiastic, customer focused and flexible to work across both the Planning and Building Control services.

Main Responsibilities
•Scan and digitise planning and building control documents from paper, microfiche and other formats, ensuring accurate indexing and good image quality.
•Import, export and organise electronic documents, maintain public registers and keep both digital and manual records up to date.
•Handle mail for the service, including collecting, opening, scanning, distributing and preparing outgoing post.
•Follow data protection, confidentiality and service procedures while supporting staff and the public with access to planning information.

Experience working in a scanning/document management capacity
