This is a key role within a thriving arts faculty, ensuring the smooth delivery of performances, events, and practical classroom learning through high-quality technical support and equipment management. Key Responsibilities Technical Lead Manage sound, lighting, and stage requirements for school productions, assemblies, and events. Provide technical expertise to ensure professional-standard performances. Resource Management Maintain, repair, and securely store musical instruments, lighting rigs, and sound equipment. Oversee safe handling and organisation of all technical resources. Classroom & Curriculum Support Assist teaching staff with the setup and operation of AV equipment for practical lessons. Support the effective integration of performance technology into teaching and learning. Essential Requirements Proven experience in technical theatre, sound engineering, or a related field. Strong working knowledge of stage lighting and sound systems. Practical, organised, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Salary & Benefits Salary: Competitive, paid on the Local Government scale (£26,000 – £31,000 per annum). Pension: Generous Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
