Job Description
New Directions Education is currently recruiting a nurturing and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to work on a part-time basis in a welcoming primary school located in Fazakerley. This role is ideal for an early years professional seeking a flexible working pattern of 2–3 days per week, with days adaptable for the right candidate.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support young children at a crucial stage of their development within a caring and engaging Early Years setting.

The Role:
6. Support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
7. Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging, play-based learning activities
8. Support children’s development in key areas including communication and language, personal, social and emotional development, and early literacy and numeracy
9. Provide 1:1 and small group support where required
10. Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
11. Support children’s wellbeing and daily routines
The Ideal Candidate:
12. Previous experience working in an EYFS or early years setting (desirable)
13. A caring, patient, and proactive approach
14. Good understanding of child development and the EYFS framework
15. Strong communication and teamwork skills
16. Flexible and reliable with a positive attitude
17. Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check and provide references covering the last 5 years
