You'll be a HCPC registered Senior Radiographer with significant post qualification experience in CT and Xray. You'll form part of a team of senior radiographers and be responsible for delivering a high quality, safe service, and provide at all times world-class customer service.
About The Canary Wharf
The Centre's secondary care services including muscle, bone and joint, orthopaedics, pain and spinal, dental and maxillofacial, breast and gynaecology, dermatology, cardiac, musculoskeletal, spinal, and urology, ENT, and will be able to perform simple procedures onsite.
The diagnostic centre houses the latest state-of-the-art technology;
1. 3T Siemens scanner
2. Somatom Force CT scanner
3. X-ray
4. Ultrasound
5. A serene women health unit providing one stop breast care services
6. Gynae unit.
The centre provides rapid-access to numerous specialities, and is operational Monday to Friday, and Saturday
How you’ll help us make health happen:
7. Perform high-quality CT and Xray examinations in line with departmental protocols.
8. Manage daily operations and organise work schedules for efficiency.
9. Supervise and train junior staff and new starters.
10. Participate in on-call and weekend shifts as per the roster.
11. Ensure compliance with safety standards, IR(ME)R regulations, and hospital policies.
12. Undertake clinical audits and equipment quality assurance
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
13. BSc or DCR in Radiography (essential)
14. Evidence of CPD and Postgraduate Certificate in CT ( essential)
15. Experience with Siemens CT, cardiac CT, CT colonography, and interventional CT
16. State registration – HCPC ( essential)
17. Substantial post grad experience in CT ( essential)
18. Xray experience
