About Our Client
The company is a small well-established FMCG manufacturer that supplies products/ingredients to multiple FMCG categories. As their new Manufacturing Manager, you'll report to a Director of Operations and have a dotted line to the MD, overseeing Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and CI.
Job Responsibilities
* Lead and manage teams involved in product manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, etc.
* Ensure manufacturing processes comply with industry regulations and quality standards.
* Identify and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.
* Coordinate with other departments to streamline operations and improve product delivery.
* Monitor and maintain inventory of raw materials and finished products.
* Implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
* Address and resolve issues related to manufacturing processes.
* Promote a safety-first culture within the manufacturing facility.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Manufacturing Manager should have:
* A degree in Engineering or a related field.
* Proven managerial experience within Food, Beverage, Personal Care, or Pharmaceutical manufacturing.
* Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and regulations.
* Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Experience in Process Improvement from both machine and people perspectives.
* Proficiency in manufacturing software and systems.
* Ability to establish and drive site KPIs.
* Excellent leadership in inspiring and gaining team buy-in.
* Living within commuting distance to Luton/Stevenage for 5 days on-site.
