What you will do
* Perform high-quality mammography examinations to ensure adherence to NHS Breast Screening Programme standards
* Accurately handle patient identification, positioning, and image acquisition while maintaining radiation safety and quality standards
* Deliver compassionate patient care, guiding individuals through sensitive procedures with empathy and professionalism
* Engage in quality assurance, audit, and equipment checks to ensure compliance with national screening standards
Requirements
* A degree or diploma in Radiography or equivalent
* A postgraduate certificate in Mammography or equivalent
* Evidence of continued professional development
* Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
* Knowledge of the NHS Breast Screening Programme standards and Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations (IRMER)
* Enhanced DBS clearance
* A valid driving licence
