A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Unqualified Teacher or experienced Cover Supervisor to join a supportive secondary school in Bristol. This is a permanent role ideal for someone confident in delivering Maths to KS3 and KS4 students and looking to progress within education.
This position is well-suited to a skilled HLTA, Cover Supervisor, or support staff member with relevant experience in a secondary setting who is ready to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, using pre-prepared materials.
* Foster a safe and positive classroom environment where students can achieve their potential.
* Adapt your approach to meet the needs of different learners, including those with additional needs.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff and pastoral teams to support pupil progress and behaviour.
* Uphold the school's ethos and contribute to a positive school culture.
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning - strong behaviour management skills are essential.
About You:
* Previous experience in a secondary school setting, ideally supporting or delivering Maths content.
* Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management skills.
* A genuine interest in education and a desire to support young people's development.
* Resilient, proactive, and able to adapt to the dynamic environment of a secondary school.
* A willingness to learn and grow within the role.
