An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU) as a ROCTA Intelligence Development Officer.
Intelligence Development Officers are key members of the Research and Analysis department in SEROCU. In this role, you will manage Organised Crime Groups, develop information on serious organised crime (SOC) activity, and support analysts in producing analytical products.
As an IDO in ROCTA, you will research various data sources to understand known SOC threats and identify emerging trends. You will develop intelligence on Organised Crime Groups and various crime types, including modern slavery, fraud, drugs, and exploitation. Your work will help prioritize operations against major threats and maximize disruptive impact on serious and organised crime.

Flexibility regarding working hours is required, and occasional travel may be necessary. A full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.
Due to the sensitive nature of the work, security vetting at SC level is required, which includes residence in the UK for the past five years. Exemptions may apply for certain overseas or diplomatic roles. More information about security vetting can be found here.
