We have an exciting opportunity to work on a Large Major Civil Engineering project for a Tier 1 Contractor leading the £1.9bn project.
Work will start in March on the latest phase of the £1.9bn LPT2 project which will see 32.5km of tunnel built to house electricity transmission cables 30 metres underground.
The new cables will replace three circuits that currently run under the surface of roads between Wimbledon in the southwest to Crayford in the southeast.
They require a number of Site Engineers to work across various sites from Wimbledon to Crayford too join the team for this project on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working on large civils schemes, major projects background, either within heavy civils, tunnelling, earthworks, highways or rail infrastructure.
Responsibilities as Site Engineer:
Role:
* General setting out on site
* Carrying out of quality control
* Meeting deadlines
* Providing a detailed technical input
* Ensuring a safe working practice
Skills:
* Previously worked as a Setting Out Engineer or Site Engineer
* Hold a valid CSCS card.
* BSc or BEng level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HNC/HND or the equivalent

The client is a worldwide Building & Civil Engineering Contractor, established in 1873. Their core focus is on delivering complex infrastructure projects but also cover, rail, heavy civil engineering and infrastructure schemes forming the bulk of their workload
