Job Description
3. Prepare and review personal tax returns for a variety of clients.
4. Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations and deadlines.
5. Liaise with clients to gather required tax-related information and address queries.
6. Assist in identifying tax-saving opportunities for clients.
7. Maintain accurate records of client documentation and correspondence.
8. Contribute to the continuous improvement of tax processes and systems.
9. Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and their implications for clients.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Tax Semi-Senior should have:
10. A relevant qualification or progress towards one, such as AAT, ATT or ACCA.
11. Experience working within a tax department or similar role in the business services sector.
12. Strong knowledge of UK tax regulations and compliance requirements.
13. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
14. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
15. A proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
