Role Overview
You will be an integral part of the Consultant-led multidisciplinary ENT team, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality, responsive care across both emergency and planned services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide day-to-day clinical management for a broad range of acute and elective ENT patients.
2. Participate in minor surgery, fast-track clinics, and the out-of-hours on-call rota.
3. Engage fully with departmental audit, clinical governance, and quality improvement activities.
4. Support the training, supervision, and development of junior medical staff.
5. Undertake appropriate administrative duties related to clinical practice.
6. Actively contribute to teaching, service development, and continuous professional development programmes.
7. Maintain up-to-date compliance with mandatory training and GMC revalidation requirements.
Desirable Experience
Interest or experience in Rhinology or Paediatric ENT Surgery would be advantageous, though applications from candidates with a general ENT focus are also encouraged.
Candidate Requirements
* A minimum of 3 years postgraduate medical training (or equivalent), with at least 2 years’ experience in ENT.
* Clinical competencies at ST3–ST5 level.
* Full registration with the GMC and a current License to Practice.
* Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
* A passion for delivering high standards of patient care across elective and acute pathways.
Postgraduate qualifications in ENT are desirable but not essential.
