We are seeking a commercially astute professional with strong technical construction knowledge to carry out detailed operational and commercial reviews of completed and live works across our social housing contracts.
The role plays a critical part in protecting and maximising profitability by ensuring works are completed to the required quality, time and cost allocations are accurate, and the correct Schedule of Rates (SOR) codes are applied to every task.
This is a hands-on, detail-driven role requiring the confidence to challenge inaccuracies, interrogate data, and ensure that what is delivered on site is correctly reflected commercially.

* Carry out detailed reviews of individual jobs and projects to assess quality of workmanship, time taken, and cost accuracy across multiple trades
* Validate that Schedule of Rates (SOR) codes are applied correctly, adding or amending codes where additional works or variations apply
* Analyse job durations and costs to identify discrepancies, inefficiencies, or missed commercial opportunities
* Review operative photos and supporting evidence to confirm works meet contractual and quality standards
* Work closely with operational and commercial teams to challenge anomalies and drive continuous improvement
* Support performance targets and run-rate expectations through accurate and timely job validation
* Contribute to improved commercial controls, margin protection, and robust audit trails
About You

You will have:
* Strong technical knowledge of building works, with the ability to accurately assess job scope, time, and cost
* Experience working within social housing repairs, planned works, or maintenance environments
* High levels of commercial awareness, with a clear understanding of how operational decisions impact profitability
* Confidence using computer systems, data platforms, and digital evidence to meet performance targets and run rates
* A methodical, analytical mindset with the confidence to challenge inaccuracies and inconsistencies
