Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum + car + potential bonus

Are you ready to lead and transform the procurement landscape for police uniforms and equipment? We are seeking a dynamic Procurement Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team, driving strategic direction and delivering exceptional value to our customers.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your duties, while maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
1. Spearhead the procurement strategy for high-value annual contracts, ensuring compliance and sourcing excellence.
2. Lead procurement, design, and technical teams to ensure high-quality products meet PPE regulations.
3. Build strong customer-facing relationships with a focus on excellence.
4. Lead a team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
5. Ensure that DHL demonstrates innovation and generates opportunities to supply innovative, value-for-money products.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
* Proven leadership experience in procurement, especially in complex environments.
* Strong customer-facing skills with effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
* Preferably, experience within a product wholesaler or manufacturer.
* Preferably, experience and knowledge of public sector organizations.
* CIPS qualification is required; MCIPS is preferred.
