Position Summary
Clean-Up Team Members maintain the interior of the wash tunnel after normal operating hours by completing manual tasks to clean tunnel walls, floors, and equipment. Exterior cleaning may be performed at the team member's discretion or upon management request.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Execute the Mike’s Purpose: Provide the best value for our boss, the customer, by delivering a clean, quick carwash every time, with a smile.
2. Abide by our Values: Safety, Integrity, Teamwork, Fun, Accountability, Profitability.
3. Customer Satisfaction: Maintain the interior of the property to ensure customers feel comfortable and that cleanliness standards are met.
4. Training: Participate in extensive training to keep safety knowledge and skills up to date. Seek assistance from management if you have questions about job expectations.
5. Security: Ensure the location is secure before leaving each night by checking that all doors are closed and locked, and the alarm is set.
Required Work Schedule
* Work all scheduled shifts unless notified otherwise by management.
* Shifts typically begin at 9:00 pm.
* Availability to work at least 3 days a week is required.
Physical Demands
This position requires verbal and written communication, hearing at a conversational level, and visual acuity for depth perception and color differentiation.
The employee will frequently stand or walk, occasionally sit, and often stoop, reach, and twist at the waist. Repetitive movements, gripping, and operating hand controls are required. Lifting up to 50 lbs. for short distances, pulling 10 lbs., and carrying 50 lbs. are occasional requirements. Bending, kneeling, balancing, climbing stairs and ladders may also be necessary.
Work Environment
The work is primarily indoors, involving ladders, safety shoes, dust, odors, noise, vibrations, and chemicals.
