Teaching Assistant – ASC Support (Year 5)

Teaching Personnel are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) in Year 5 at a welcoming primary school in Poulton.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting a pupil with ASC to access learning and achieve EHCP targets.
* Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies.
* Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
* Adapting resources and activities to meet individual needs.
What we’re looking for:
* Experience supporting children with ASC or other SEN.
* Knowledge of autism-friendly approaches and communication strategies.
* Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
