Job Description:
We are currently collaborating with our client, an international law firm, on a Senior Planning, Consenting Energy & Infrastructure role within the firm’s Planning & Environment Team.
The team is one of the largest dedicated planning teams in the UK, overseeing major projects across sectors such as infrastructure, energy, and real estate. The primary focus of this role is to advise on high-profile energy projects, including offshore wind, large-scale solar, interconnectors, pipelines, carbon capture plants, nuclear, energy networks, and infrastructure.
Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years’ PQE with extensive planning experience, preferably within large regional or national practices. A strong understanding of the Electricity Act 1989, Town and Country Planning Acts, and Planning Act 2008 is highly desirable. Candidates qualified in Australia or New Zealand will also be considered.
