Location: Dumfries & Galloway (East Area) with travel across the region
Salary range: £29,873 - £35,992 FTE (pay award pending) + competitive benefits package. Starting salary will be based on skills and experience.
Additional payments for on call (£175 per week) + call outs paid at 1.5 x hourly rate.
Hours: 34 hour week, worked over 4 days between 8am and 5pm and enjoy a rota that allows long weekend downtime every 5 weeks.

The Role
You’ll be joining a team of Skilled operatives working both independently and as part of a team. carrying out reactive and void works. DEICR, Smoke Alarm and Emergency Lighting program of works as well as other multi-skilled duties which include, basic joinery, minor plastering repairs, decoration etc.
You’ll do this whilst delivering a responsive and ‘right first time’ approach and will share our commitment to providing a GREAT customer service.
The role is agile with travel across Dumfries & Galloway and reports to the In-House Repairs Team Manager. This post will be based within the East team covering DG1,2,7,10,11,12,13,14,16. You may be required to cover other areas throughout the region from time to time.
You’ll need to hold a full, valid, Driving Licence as you will be required to drive as part of this role. Loreburn will provide you with a fully stocked Loreburn van, Power tools, PPE and mobile technology you’ll need to carry out the role.

•\tBe qualified to current IEE 18th Edition Regulations.
•\tHold ACS Grade Card
•\tHave a full valid driving licence
•\tDemonstrate the ability to develop new skills
•\tBe able to provide support and guidance to any apprentices
•\tParticipate in the on-call rota to provide out of hours services to our customers
•\tBe able to work under pressure, organising and prioritising to deliver outputs and meet deadlines
•\tHave working knowledge of Health & Safety and risk management in the workplace
•\tBe able to have a flexible approach to ensure jobs are completed
•\tBe able to work independently, whilst also being a great team player to get the job done
•\tHave a basic understanding of IT (use of apps, emails etc.) and a willingness to learn our systems to update data
•\tBe able to work using your own initiative
