Overview
CNC Millers opportunity at this established precision engineering company. The role is manufacturing a range of often large high precision parts on a range of 3 and 5 axis machines. You will be a competent setter / operator capable of working on complex parts, programming offsets and doing basic inspection. The work will be a mix of complex one off parts and small production runs on aerospace, automotive, oil & gas and similar high precision parts from a range of metals. You should have experience machining complex multi-operation parts.
Manufacturing will involve working with Hass (fanuc) and/or Hurco CNC Mills so ideally you will have experience with these and you will likely be apprentice trained.
Responsibilities
* Set up and operate CNC milling machines.
* Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* Ensure precision and quality of all components using appropriate measuring equipment.
* Carry out routine machine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
* Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the production process.
Requirements
* Experience machining complex multi-operation parts.
* Experience with Hass (Fanuc) and/or Hurco CNC Mills.
* Basic inspection skills.
* Current UK right to work.
