Responsibilities
As part of the Combustion Engineer team, you’ll be:
* Installing gas appliances and gas systems
* Carrying out planned maintenance checks on systems and equipment
* Testing the integrity of controls and safety devices
* Tracing and repairing gas leaks
* Carry out PPM and Reactive works on Commercial and Domestic boiler systems across the sites on the portfolio
* Proactive and reactive maintenance (service and breakdowns) including fault finding across a diverse range of natural gas fired boilers/systems
* Pipe Fitting Skills would be desirable
Qualifications
* Recognised gas industry Level 3 qualification, assessed through the Accredited Certification Scheme (ACS) and Gas Safe registration
* Core Domestic or Commercial Gas qualifications including CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1 and/or CoDNCO1, CDGA1, CIGA1, ICPN1
* Experience in installation or maintaining heating systems, repairing sanitation systems, installing domestic appliances, emergency repairs on water systems
* Experience in installation of pipework and repairs for compressed air systems
* Relevant electrical testing and fault-finding qualification such as ACOP 6/7
