Salary: Up to £37,000 + Bonuses + Benefits
Hours: 40 hours per week | Core hours 9am–5pm | Occasional evening functions (always scheduled in advance)

We’re looking for a talented Head Chef to lead the kitchen at one of Gloucestershire’s most welcoming golf clubs. This is a fantastic opportunity to run your own kitchen, enjoy the benefits of a well-structured rota, and still achieve an excellent work–life balance.

Your Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire the kitchen team, overseeing daily service and prep
* Design and update menus for café service, events, and functions
* Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
* Manage ordering, stock control, and supplier relationships
* Uphold all food safety and hygiene requirements
* Plan and prepare for functions in collaboration with the wider team
* Support and develop junior chefs, fostering a positive kitchen culture

What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef ready to step up
* Passion for simple, well-prepared food served to a high standard
* Ability to lead, organise, and motivate a small team
* Flexible for occasional evening shifts (always scheduled in advance)
* A positive, down-to-earth attitude with excellent communication skills
