Join the Home Pricing team as a Lead Pricing Analyst!
As a Lead Pricing Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in planning and delivering pricing-related projects to drive growth and profitability. You'll lead a team of Pricing Analysts and Senior Pricing Analysts, guiding their development and coaching them to success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage, develop, and coach Pricing Analysts and Senior Pricing Analysts.
2. Develop, validate, review, and approve predictive and machine learning models.
3. Deliver accurate datasets for modelling, pricing, and monitoring.
4. Maintain pricing models and support their deployment.
5. Conduct pricing analyses and prepare recommendations for senior stakeholders.
6. Manage the implementation of rate releases and review rates in live environments.
7. Provide insights into current and future pricing performance using MI and modelling results.
8. Coordinate pricing decisions and implementation across teams and decision-making bodies.
9. Inform and influence senior management and heads of departments.
Qualifications:
10. Degree in a numerical discipline or equivalent.
11. Experience in insurance pricing or related analytical background.
12. Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS, R, Matlab, or Python.
13. Experience with predictive modelling techniques like Logistic Regression, Decision Trees, Random Forests, etc.
14. Familiarity with Emblem and Radar.
15. Strong communication skills to convey statistical concepts to non-statistical audiences.
16. Self-motivated with excellent planning and organizational skills.
