Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Location: Hybrid/Field-Based minimum 2 days in office – Shepperton Salary: £35,000 – £65,000 (dependent on experience) Working Hours: 8:00–17:00 / 9:00–18:00 (occasional Saturdays) Role Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team in a hybrid/field-based role. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects within the social housing and domestic property sector, with regular office presence required in Shepperton. The successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, producing valuations, and managing weekly and monthly cost reports. You will play a pivotal role in managing subcontractor relationships, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate estimates for social housing and domestic property projects Produce valuations in line with contractual requirements Generate and maintain weekly and monthly cost reports Oversee and manage subcontractor accounts and relationships Work with Schedules of Rates (SOR) to ensure compliance and accuracy Support project teams with commercial guidance and reporting Experience & Skills Required Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within social housing and domestic property sectors Strong knowledge and experience of SOR Demonstrable experience producing estimates and valuations Competent in preparing cost reports and dealing with subcontractors Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills Qualifications BSc in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (preferred) Professional membership such as RICS or MCIOB (desirable) Company Benefits 20 days annual holiday (plus bank holidays) Mileage allowance for work travel Pension scheme This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Quantity Surveyor to advance their career within a supportive and growing organisation.
