We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic Event Staffing Planner to join the fun and passionate Ticket Office Operations team, responsible for managing ingress (entry) and egress (exit) of all visitors across Goodwood’s portfolio of events.
This role involves sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding casual and volunteer teams, developing pre- and on-event communications, and coordinating with internal teams to assign roles and manage staff during events. You will ensure the smooth operation of all staffing areas, reconcile hours, and ensure timely payroll processing.
You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, supporting the team to work efficiently during the event season.
This role is both operational and administrative, requiring flexibility in working hours, especially during the event season. Please note that some weekend and evening work will be involved in the lead-up to and during events.
What you need to be successful:
* Previous experience in a busy administrative role
* Experience in recruitment is desirable
* Excellent organisational skills and IT proficiency (particularly Microsoft Office)
* Strong attention to detail and initiative
* Positive, friendly attitude with confident communication skills
* Resilience to work through a demanding season with a sense of fun
* Experience in the events industry is an advantage but not essential
