What you’ll do
With this role you will support an adult in their home by attending social groups and appointments. He enjoys fine art, crafts, audiobooks, chair yoga and days out. Experience with tracheostomy, peg feeding and suction is beneficial; however, full training will be provided. This is a wonderful role where you can truly make a difference.
The successful candidate will be caring, enthusiastic and dedicated to promoting the clients independence. Our client likes to keep active and directs his own care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Tracheostomy care
* Peg Feed
* Supporting with social activities
* Meal preparation
* Administering medication
* Supporting daily routines and interests
Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
You don’t need complex care experience to apply for this role, as this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills and become part of a team that makes a real difference. You’ll receive full nurse-led training and ongoing clinical support to develop skills in various areas.
