Qualified Mechanic
Location: Newtonmore, PH20 1AR
Salary: £32,000.00 - £40,000.00 per annum, DOE
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday - Friday (Weekend working very occasional)
Benefits: 28 holiday days per year, Accommodation provided if required, Standard pension scheme (opt-in)

Job Role:
We are seeking a Qualified Mechanic to join our team, responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of plant machinery and company vehicles.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring our fleet and equipment remain in top working condition, supporting the smooth operation of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair plant machinery and company vehicles
• Perform regular maintenance and servicing tasks
• Order necessary parts and maintain stock levels
• Liaise with office and management to update repair logs and vehicle status
• Ensure all vehicles meet MOT and safety standards
• Travel to off-site locations for repairs when required
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
• Minimum 1 year of previous experience in mechanics (plant machinery experience preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities
• Valid driving licence (essential)
• Good communication skills for liaising with team and management
