Salary: £53,607 (Grade 14) + £2,500 retention payment
Contract: Permanent, 36 hours per week
Location: Hybrid - minimum 3 days in the office
Join Croydon's Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) and play a vital role at the 'front door' of Children's Social Care. Our MASH makes timely and informed decisions about the help and protection children need, ensuring their journey begins in the right way.
About the Role
As an Advanced Social Worker in MASH, you'll manage a daily allocation of referrals, liaising directly with parents, carers, young people and multi-agency partners. You'll use your analytical and assessment skills to determine thresholds of need and risk, and advise on suitable pathways including Early Help, CIN and CP. You'll also contribute to wider multi-agency forums and offer consultations to professionals.
This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic team structure comprising 3 MASH teams and a specialist Early Help Triage Team including Early Help Navigators, Substance Misuse Worker, and a Domestic Abuse IDVA.
