We are a growing, ambitious accountancy practice seeking to appoint a Corporate Finance Senior Manager to lead and develop our corporate finance offering. This high-impact role in a lean business works directly with the partners to build a scalable corporate finance function, deliver high-quality advisory work across the full deal lifecycle and drive fee growth and originate new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deal Execution & Technical Delivery
- Lead and manage corporate finance engagements across:
- Business disposals (trade sales, exit planning)
- Acquisitions and buy-side advisory
- Management buyouts (MBOs) and Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs)
- Financial due diligence (vendor and buy-side)
- Business valuations and strategic option reviews
- Debt and equity fundraising
- Financial modelling and valuation analysis
- Preparation of Information Memoranda and reports
- Managing data rooms and due diligence processes
- Liaising with clients, banks, lawyers and other stakeholders
- Identifying key risks, value drivers and deal adjustments
- Client Management
- Act as day-to-day lead adviser on transactions
- Build strong relationships with owner-managed businesses
- Translate technical analysis into clear commercial advice
- Manage client expectations, timelines and deliverables
- Business Development & Growth
- Drive origination of new corporate finance work from existing client base and professional introducers (banks, lawyers, IFAs)
- Lead proposals, pitches and networking activity
- Identify cross-selling opportunities with accounts, tax and audit teams
- Team Leadership & Development
- Manage and mentor junior staff (analysts/managers)
- Review work outputs and maintain quality standards
- Provide technical coaching on deal structuring, financial analysis and report writing
- Support recruitment as the team grows

- Essential Experience
- Proven experience in corporate finance or transaction services
- Strong track record across M&A/advisory engagements
- Experience managing multiple projects and delivering to deadlines
- Demonstrable client-facing and stakeholder management experience
- Technical Skills
- Advanced financial modelling and valuation capability
