Position
Band 6 Specialist Gastroenterology Dietitian on a fixed‑term contract with Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist nutritional care for inpatients on the gastroenterology ward and manage a caseload of patients.
* Deliver specialist dietetic services for patients with gastrointestinal conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome, coeliac disease, liver disease and inflammatory bowel disease, through face‑to‑face, telephone and virtual appointments.
* Conduct group education sessions and regularly attend multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
* Support development of staff and students through supervision.
* Contribute to service improvement and audit initiatives, and assist in the development and implementation of innovative working practices.

* Strong foundation of clinical dietetic skills.
* Enthusiastic, innovative and flexible with a desire to grow clinical skills, knowledge and experience.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
