Overview:
The Engineering Level 2 Diploma Apprenticeship is a comprehensive programme designed to develop skills and knowledge for a career in engineering. It offers practical experience and theoretical study in various engineering disciplines. Candidates will work four days onsite in Norbrook and study one day per week at SRC.
Main Tasks/Activities:
1. Assist engineers in designing, testing, and implementing engineering solutions.
2. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
3. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
4. Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
5. Document work activities including observations, measurements, and test results.
6. Adhere to GMP standards and maintain a quality-oriented mindset.
Essential Criteria:
* GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
* Strong interest in a career in engineering
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Willingness to learn and strong problem-solving skills
Duration:
2 years, with potential progression to Level 3 courses at the college.
