Responsible for managing an ongoing caseload prioritising own workload, balancing the needs of CYP and their families/carers often with competing priorities. Responsible for developing, planning, and organising activities and a number of ongoing tasks and activities. Ensure all documentation and data collection is accurately completed in line with systemwide policies and GDPR. To effectively and appropriately maintain CYP records on systems. To use office equipment in an appropriate manner, reporting any faults following the recognised organisational procedure. Exposure to a VDU is frequent in line with H&S guidelines. Decisions and judgements To bring together information and facts, analyse, interpret, and make judgements, potentially in difficult, challenging and/or complex situations. To then explore and compare potential range of options understanding the risk, impact, and benefit of each with the individuals involved. Take time to assess and understand CYPs communication needs based on the analysis of a range of facts or situations and adapt their approach individually for them. 24. Respectfully challenge blocks to collaborative working and individualised care and contribute to a solution focussed approach. Exercise judgement, accountability and responsibility using skills, knowledge, and expertise in changing environments, across agency boundaries and in unfamiliar situations on behalf of CYP and their family. Knowledge of relevant Trust policies and procedures e.g., Fire, Health & Safety, Data Protection/Security of Information. Contribute to policies, procedures and protocols within the service as required. Implements policies, procedures, and protocols relevant to own work area, setting standards for procedures within designated service area(s). Works autonomously, prioritising tasks in accordance with agreed objectives, organisational policy/guidance, and defined parameters. Work is self-managed rather than supervised.
