An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced sustainability professional to lead and grow a Building Services Sustainability & Building Physics team within a well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy.
This role will suit an ambitious leader passionate about driving low-carbon design, energy optimisation and sustainable solutions across the built environment.
Either someone who is currently working at Principal level and seeking a step up in responsibilities, or an established leader in a similar position, around Associate/AD level.
The Role:
Reporting to the Building Services Director, you will lead and develop a small but growing Sustainability & Building Physics team, initially delivering a strong pipeline of existing projects while driving the long-term growth of the division.
The role will involve delivering energy, carbon and sustainability strategies across a diverse range of projects, supporting work-winning activity, leading client engagement, overseeing building performance and energy modelling services, and driving sustainability certification delivery including BREEAM, LEED and PassivHaus standards.
You will also play a key role in shaping the wider ESG and sustainability strategy across the business while helping develop future service offerings and capabilities.
What We’re Looking For:
Degree qualified in Engineering or Sustainability
8+ years’ industry experience
Strong understanding of sustainable building design & construction
Knowledge of BREEAM, LEED, PassivHaus, SKA & EnerPHit
Experience within building physics, energy modelling & carbon reduction
Excellent client-facing & leadership skills
Understanding of BIM integration & digital twin technologies
