Key Responsibilities
* Teach engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 in Humanities subjects
* Plan and deliver lessons that promote enquiry, critical thinking, and active learning
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear feedback and targeted support
* Establish and maintain a positive, well-managed learning environment
* Support curriculum development and contribute to wider school life
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practice and student outcomes
Essential Criteria
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching Humanities subjects at secondary level
* Strong subject knowledge and an ability to deliver content effectively
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* Commitment to inclusive practice and high standards of student achievement
Desirable
* Experience with exam board specifications and assessments (e.g., AQA, Edexcel)
