We are seeking an experienced post-doctoral research associate to join an emerging primary care cancer research group at the University of Manchester and work within the International Alliance for Cancer Early Detection (ACED). ACED is a partnership between Cancer Research UK, The University of Manchester, University College London, the Knight Cancer Institute at OHSU, the University of Cambridge, the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and the German Cancer Research Centre.

Responsibilities
1. Conduct systematic reviews and narrative syntheses.
2. Handle, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative survey data, drawing conclusions on the outcomes.
3. Write up research findings for publication.
4. Coordinate the ACED Inequalities Theme Patient & Public Involvement and Engagement (PPI&E) group and work with PPI&E co-investigators.
5. Plan and manage own research activity in collaboration with others.
6. Attend and contribute to relevant meetings and participate in collaborative decision-making with colleagues in research areas.
Qualifications
1. A PhD in a relevant discipline.
2. Experience with conducting and publishing systematic reviews.
3. Experience working with PPI&E groups and co-investigators.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
